This Cookie Policy explains how CrunchCode LDA ("we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on crunchcode.com. It complements our Privacy Policy, which explains how we process personal data.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Some are necessary for the site to work. Others help us understand how the site is used. We only set cookies that are not strictly necessary after you agree to them.
2. Your choice
When you first visit, a banner lets you accept all, reject all, or choose by category. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and the site works the same either way. Non-essential cookies stay off until you opt in.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before.
3. Cookies we use
Strictly necessary
These are needed to remember your cookie choice and to keep the site secure. They do not require consent.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
cc_consent |
CrunchCode | Stores your cookie choice so the banner does not reappear on every page | 12 months |
Analytics — only with your consent
We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand which pages are read and how visitors find us. We look at aggregate traffic, not at individual people.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga |
Google Ireland Limited | Distinguishes visitors | 2 years |
_ga_<ID> |
Google Ireland Limited | Keeps session state | 2 years |
Browsers may delete these earlier. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months.
4. What we do not do
We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA.
5. International transfers
Google may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where it does, transfers rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or EU Standard Contractual Clauses, as described in our Privacy Policy.
