About CrunchCode

An engineering company that chose logistics.

Max Kravets founded CrunchCode in 2017. We built software across retail, eCommerce, fintech and delivery. The work that kept pulling us back moved physical goods: courier apps, fulfillment, carrier integrations, freight billing. Over time it became the whole company.

Why logistics

In logistics, a software failure is a physical event. A broken rate call is a truck that does not leave. A silent EDI failure is a retail chargeback three weeks later. A slow query is a dock door standing idle.

That is why we stayed. The problems are hard, the cost of getting them wrong is visible, and engineers who already know the domain are worth more here than anywhere else.

How we work

We hire for each engagement.

We do not keep a bench of idle engineers. We select from a network of engineers we already know, and you interview every one before they start. A first candidate within 1–2 days.

Mid and senior engineers only.

Every team we run has a senior lead who answers for the technical plan and the quality of the work, not only for the hours.

Open books.

You see the cost of the team and the margin we add. Fixed-scope work is a fixed price with that breakdown attached.

Domain first.

Carrier throttling, ASN discrepancies, peak windows and versioned rate tables are where our engineers start, not what they learn on your budget.

And on a technical call, our CTO.

Bring the thing that is broken.

Thirty minutes with our CTO. If we are the wrong team for it, you will hear that on the call.
